Everywhere hurt.

Since when were meetings physically painful? Maybe mentally torturous, but that was the end of it. Speaking of odd things, he didn't remember stopping for a nap. With a small groan, Feliciano slowly opened his eyes only to find it still hard to see where ever he was properly, and realized he was staring at a ceiling full of cobwebs. Hit with the sudden realization that he had no idea where he was, Feliciano sat up in a sudden panic. Looking around, he could barely make out shapes of strange objects surrounding him. They were hard to make out in the dim light.

"H-hello?" he said into the nothingness quietly with a pause, waiting for someone to answer him. No reply. This was only getting worse. 'Where am I?' With the slightest hint of a whimper, Feliciano stood up, using something hard near him for support. Still panicked, he wracked his brain for any hints as to what was going on. Last thing he remembered he was walking in that hallway. After a few seconds, it hit him that there was a person with him and then all went black. He hadn't a clue in the word what happened afterwards. If that mysterious person put him here, they certainly weren't gentle with him.

He wanted to go home. This wasn't a funny joke anymore, not that he really thought it was in the first place. Carefully, Feliciano made his way over to the door. The doorknob was dusty, gross. He pulled on it, like one would with any other door, but it didn't open. Pulling on it harder, the result was the same. No matter how hard he rattled the doorknob, it appeared to be locked. A sinking feeling was growing in the pit of his stomach. He was stuck.

Tears were forming the the corners of his eyes. "O-open this door! This isn't funny, ve!" No answer still. He let go of the door knob, almost painfully slow. "Please?....please?" He was stuck, he was really stuck. Feliciano wanted out, right now. Looking around once again, his eyes locked on a window. Putting his hands over his head to protect himself from cobwebs, he made his way to the window, looking outside.

He was on the third floor.

Feliciano leaned against the window frame. Tears were falling freely now.

Kiku walked through the strange town, completely alert, scanning all the buildings for signs of life. There was none, and he was growing increasingly nervous. He could tell the other two in the little group were the same, though all of them were keeping composed for the others. It was actually comical, if you thought about it right. However, this was not the time to think about such trivial matters. What was important now was finding the others and--

What was that? Kiku's eyes narrowed in suspicion. There was a movement in the window of that house, and it certainly wasn't a curtain. He stopped and looked up at the window, and noticed a person. His eyes widened in realization and recognition. That outfit, that wild curl of hair... this was none other than his former ally and current friend, Feliciano.

He ran to the house, knowing full well that the others would keep up. He was glad to find that the front door was unlocked. He opened it and looked back to see the others close behind him, which was good because he did not want to wait for them. He ran up to the third floor, unsheathed his katana, and kicked down every door until he found Feliciano.

"Feliciano-kun, are you alright?" he asked, walking over to the other man and, seeing that he wasn't in immediate danger, sheathed his katana. He did, however, notice that the man had been crying, but that was usually typical Feliciano-like behavior.

Gilbert could probably break his knife on the tension in the air and it was really starting to get to him. He had backed down and allowed Kiku to take the lead because, although he loathed to admit it, Kiku was better equipped. For now, at least. He did his best to ignore it though and focused on scanning the surrounding area for any signs of life. He almost didn't notice Kiku dart off towards the seemingly abandoned house before the Asian man was through the door. 'Damn it Kiku, what the hell are you doing now?' thought Gilbert as he grabbed Emma's arm and chased after their temporary leader.

He let go of Emma once they were through the door because, well the man was fast and had vanished from his view. He did hear loud thuds coming from upstairs. 'What if he found West?' was the only thing he could think of until he reached the third floor.

He could faintly hear Kiku talking to ....Feliciano? Feli was here?

Emma hadn't really taken the time to check out the town, but now that she was walking through the streets, she could see that it really was abandoned. There weren't any cars or anything. It didn't even seem like a ghost town either. It looked more like everyone just decided to leave. What the hell happened exactly? Emma tried her best to calm down, not wanting to be silly. They just had to look for other signs of life...
Her thoughts were interrupted when someone, Gilbert, grabbed her arm and started to run.

What the hell?

But she ran anyway, not wanting to lag behind. Why were they running? Where was Kiku? Had he found someone? Emma had been too lost in her thoughts to really notice anything. They ended up running into a house, but there was no sign of Kiku. Emma didn't expect him to be so fast. Then Gilbert let go of her arm and started to make his way upstairs. It was only then did she realise that being dragged all the way there by her arm kind of hurt. She rubbed her arm and rushed upstairs as well. When she reached the third floor, she heard a familiar voice. It almost sounded like Feliciano...

'What if I'm stuck here forever? What if I can never see anyone again?' His mind was racing. Sure, he wasn't a normal person, he was a nation. He couldn't die simply from being stuck here, but it didn't make the situation any less emotionally stressful. All he could do was cry.

Feliciano was snapped out of his panicked daydreaming when he heard something. It sounded like footsteps. Facing the door, he stared at it, a new fear growing. What if he was not only stuck forever, but this place was haunted? He stood, facing the door, finding it almost hard to breathe as the footsteps got closer and closer to the door to the room he was in. It was coming for him, whatever it was.

Next thing he knew, the door was being broken down. His body subconsciously backed closer to the wall behind him. When the scene in front of him cleared, there was no ghost or horrible monster like out of a story. It was just...Japan? Feliciano wasn't the type to double think this kind of thing for any reasoning. Japan was here. Someone he knew and trusted.

He was saved.

The Italian's mind barely registered anything Kiku said to him. He ran over to the smaller man, pulling him in a tight hug. He wasn't sure if his tears were happy or sad anymore as he held him. "J-japan! Ve, it is scary and I don't know where I am and..and.." And what? What was even going on?

Well, that answered his question. He almost wanted to push Feliciano away like usual, but this couldn't be considered a normal circumstance. Besides, his behavior in that house... he found himself hugging Feliciano back, albeit awkwardly. After a few seconds, he patted the man on the back and managed to (somehow) pry him off of him.

"Feliciano-kun, you must listen to me," he said, looking into the other Nation's eyes to ensure his attention. "So far I have found Gilbert-san, Emma-san, Vash-kun, and you, and though I cannot speak for you, for the rest of us the story is the same. We received a vague invitation to a world meeting, then arrived here. From then on, we do not remember much. Only that I awoke in a shed, Emma-san awoke in an alley, Vash-kun awoke in a pet shop, and Gilbert-san awoke in a closet. Vash-kun and I were separated a while ago. From the looks of things, you underwent similar circumstances." He looked to make sure the Italian was still listening, then continued.

"This town is large and abandoned. Everything is cleaned and stocked, and it appears to have only been abandoned a little over a week ago. There are no signs of struggle, so it appears that everyone just left. We have no idea why. However, it seems that the other Nations are scattered through this strange town, all with similar stories. We must find them, and we must not diverge from the group or we could get lost... or worse."

The last few words hung in the air, making the atmosphere thick enough to slice through with his katana.

Gilbert walked over towards the source of the talking, making it to the room just in time to hear the end of Kiku's recap. Luckily, it was Feliciano and he wouldn't be subject to more closet oriented ridicule at the moment, the boy was probably too upset to think of the implications, if he was able to make the connection in the first place. Peering in the room, he was greeted with the site of a sniffling Feliciano. He wished Gilbird was with him, if only to give the crying Italian a distraction, no matter how often Feli cried, it was still heartbreaking to see.

Emma managed to reach the third floor, although by the time she reached where everyone else was, it was silent again. She stood near Gilbert and looked into the room as well.
So it was Feliciano that she heard. He was hugging Kiku pretty tightly, and she felt bad for him. Waking up in a room like that with only a dim light... it was definitely worse than waking up in an alley for her. As much as she wanted to go over there and hug Feliciano, she couldn't bring herself to move or say anything. She just stood there watching them in silence.

It reminded her of her brother, although she wasn't sure why. They weren't particularly close, like they used to be. Yet, she couldn't help but wonder where Lars was, and if he was okay.
Of course he's okay. He can take care of himself, thought Emma. Still, it was normal to worry about him, they were siblings after all. But what if he's injured? Is he alone?

She shook her head, Lars was fine. There was no need to worry so much. Emma wasn't even the sort of person to worry like this either. They were finding more people, which was a positive sign. Though for some reason, watching Feliciano hug Kiku like that, Emma wanted a hug too. Just to reassure her that everything would be alright...

It was odd, actually being hugged back by Kiku. Usually the smaller man wouldn't stand for Feliciano's displays of affection. No matter what though, right now he didn't want to let go. Another person's warmth was comforting. Their touch, their voice, simply their presence was enough to calm him slightly. He wasn't alone anymore. When Kiku broke them apart, it was honestly no surprise, but he missed the contact. Still, contact or no contact, it was hard to process everything coming from the man's mouth. It may have been horrible, but he was glad that it wasn't just him in this frightening situation.

There was something about what he said though that stuck in Feliciano's mind. '...or worse?'. "Worse? Wh-what happened to everyone else then?" He didn't want to think about it. They couldn't be...no. Honestly, he didn't know what to say at the moment. He just looked at Kiku before something finally caught his attention. Amber eyes fixed themselves on the doorway. Gilbert and Emma were standing there, looking rather apprehensively in the direction of the two former allies.

They were alright. The 'or worse' hadn't gotten to any of the four people in the room...yet. Still, Feliciano wasn't thinking this way. He still wasn't in the best state of mind. All he wanted was for someone to hold him and tell him everything would be okay like always. He focused on the white haired man. Gilbert. His best friend's brother. Without thinking of how rude it was to ignore Kiku, Feliciano ran right past him, latching onto Gilbert and burying his face in the man's chest. "Ve, you are all okay! I-I'm so happy." his voice almost sounded excited. It wasn't a lie, he was happy to see three other people he knew and cared for in one piece.

But then it hit him. "...where is everyone else?" Feliciano's voice was much more quiet at this question as he stayed hugging the taller man.

Kiku was glad that Feliciano had stopped hugging him, but also missed it, in a strange way. It was awkward, but comfortable at the same time. He knew he had upset the Italian with his words, but it was necessary to tell him about their current situation. It was better to have him sad like this than not knowing.

"We have not found any others yet," he said sadly. "The only other Nation I have found was Vash-kun, but we were separated in a grocery store." He did not want to tell them what separated them, because they would surely think he was insane.

That they had found nobody else was the truth, though he loathed to admit it. They didn't know if the others were alive, or where they were. They didn't know anything about this strange town. He was never good with emotions, so he didn't really have anything to say. He looked to the others for help on a more delicate way to word what they all knew.

Standing in the doorway with Emma left Gilbert feeling a little awkward. He didn't want to interupt the moment Kiku and Feli were having, but when Kiku kept saying such pessimistic things toward the probably already terrified Italian, his older brother instincts screamed, amplified by Feliciano's panicked expression.

He was ready to punch Kiku, or at least yell at him, by the time Feli worked up the nerve to ask what he meant by '...or worse.', but when watery amber eyes locked with his own, all of his anger vanished, all he could do was let out a suprised grunt when the Italian barreled into him and held on tightly. A genuine smile worked its way onto Gilbert's face at the relief and excitement in the voice muffled against his chest and he wrapped his arms around the smaller man's shoulders in return.

This temporary relief didn't last long when Feliciano asked the question that none of them quite knew the answer, followed by Kiku's blunt response. 'Geez, would it kill the guy to be a little more sensitive?' he thought, giving the Japanese man a look, but softened it when he saw the other man's expression. Gilbert gave the man in his arms another squeeze saying, "Ah, but don't worry about it Feli, I'm sure the others will be fine until we go save them, right Emma?"

'West, you'd better be alright.' At this point, he wasn't sure if he was reassuring himself or Feliciano.

Emma was once again deep in thought until Feliciano had run up to Gilbert and hugged him. She had to admit that it was a sweet moment. She crossed her arms and smiled. Then Feliciano had asked where everyone else was and Kiku responded. Emma couldn't stop herself from frowning, there must have been a nicer way to answer that, but it was true. They hadn't found anyone else on their way, but surely they weren't...

Positive thinking.. positive thinking..
"Gilbert's right, of course they'll be fine," Emma smiled, though not as genuine as she wanted it to be, "we just have to stick together."
It was hard being really convincing when she wasn't even sure at this point what was happening but Emma managed to keep the smile on her face. There was definitely the possibility that they weren't the only ones left. She had to stop being negative.

"We'll find everyone else, alright?" Emma ruffled Feliciano's hair. She gave him a more genuine smile this time.

Feliciano felt a bit relieved when Gilbert returned his hug. It was nice, to have the familiar feeling of his arms around him when he was feeling lonely. He was no stranger to clinging all over him, as he was always bothering Ludwig at his home, and his brother was there. Hearing Kiku talk, Feliciano lifted his head from Prussia's chest to at least look at him while he was talking. That wasn't what he wanted to hear in response. Something about the overall mood of the situation told him he wasn't getting what he wanted to hear. Everyone had to be okay.

But they were missing?

Without really thinking about it, Feliciano held onto Gilbert's shirt a little more tightly. He had been around Kiku long enough in his life to know that he wasn't the person to go to when he wanted to talk to someone about feelings. Kiku wasn't the best with emotions, but what he was saying wasn't helpful. "Oh..." he turned back to Gilbert, lightly resting his head in the same spot again.

He heard talking again and perked up a little. At least what the other two said was a bit happier. They would find everyone and they could go home and everything would be okay. Feliciano glanced over to Emma when he felt his hair being ruffled. They all seemed calm about it, so why couldn't he? "You are right, ve...we can get everyone and go home. Maybe they are all together and missing us." A faint little smile made its way across his face, though there was still traces of tears in his eyes.

It was a nice little thought, thinking of everyone waiting for them. Maybe they were the missing ones here.

Kiku frowned slightly at the disapproving looks he received from everyone else in the group. He was only telling the truth; couldn't they just understand that? The plain truth was that they hadn't found anyone yet. That wasn't saying that they wouldn't, just that they hadn't. Didn't he say that everyone was probably here as well?

He decided to just not talk. It was better if the other two handled emotions. And he was a ninja, after all. He could probably quietly slip away without them knowing. Never mind that they were more concerned with emotions and feelings than staying alive, never mind that they had no way to protect themselves. They were in a group, and he could handle himself on his own. Maybe find a new group to travel in, then meet up with the others and find a way out of here.

He took another glance at the group on the other side of the room. He felt alone. None of them wanted him there. They only wanted his weapon. He briefly considered throwing it at them and leaving. They wouldn't care, right? To them, he was just some emotionless bastard with a sword. He glared at them. What right did they have to think that of him? He was a person too, and just because he wasn't very good with them, he had feelings.

They weren't looking at him. Maybe he should just leave now. It's only the third story, after all. By time they noticed his absence, he could be long gone. Kiku was sick and tired of them anyway. Gilbert's cockiness was a big thing, but perhaps the fact that they all seemed to hate him, even Feliciano, hurt too.

Feliciano's hopeful tone relaxed Gilbert and maybe, just maybe, he would allow himself to believe that the others were completely safe as well. 'N-not that I care about anyone except West. Yeah, that priss can... get lost for good if he is here.' Shaking his head, he stopped his train of thought in order to give Kiku a much needed apology. Now that his emotions weren't running as high, he could see that he was out of line, even for his own standards, but when he looked up to speak, he saw the man stealthily making his way to the grimy window. He wasn't thinking of....was he? The man was really starting to piss him off, so Gilbert gave a low questioning hum and gently removed himself from the Italian in his arms.

He walked over to the window where Kiku was attempting slip away and slung an arm over the small Japanese man's shoulders. He rubbed a small section of the glass clean and peered out, seeing the skyline darkening. "Ah~ It looks like it is starting to get dark. We should probably stay here for the night before we go and look for the others."

In a much lower tone, so that Emma and Feliciano couldn't hear him, he added, "What was that you said about staying together, Kiku? I'm not sure you heard yourself clearly. I think we need to have a little chat."

He then raised his voice back up, turning them to address the other two members of their party. "Kiku and I will check the first floor. Emma, you and Feli go check the second floor, we'll meet back here in an hour to present our findings and discuss our next course of action. Come on Kiku." He gently pulled the shorter man along, ruffling Feliciano's hair and giving Emma a quick nod on his way out.

Emma perked up when Gilbert detached himself from Feliciano and walked into the room. She then looked back into the room, and saw Kiku near the window. She assumed that he was checking outside, probably seeing if it was alright to continue searching. It was already dark out.
So they'd have to stay there for the night.
She listened to Gilbert's plan, deciding that it was probably the best action to take. Emma wasn't really looking forward to searching the second floor of all places but she merely nodded back at Gilbert. Besides, it couldn't be as bad as she thought, and Feliciano was going to be with her too. At least she wasn't alone.

It's not like I'm scared! Emma wouldn't dare admit it anyway. All she had to do was avoid closed spaces, it was no big deal. She needed to stop overthinking things.
Emma turned to look at Feliciano. She grinned and pointed to herself.

"You're stuck with me then."

He was let go again, much to his disappointment. At least he was feeling a bit better now. Still, this wasn't his ideal situation. He watched as Gilbert met Kiku and began talking, and was a bit confused. They were leaving? Apparently, since they quickly left the room. He vaguely wondered if he did something to make Kiku upset and felt a small pang of guilt in his chest. He didn't want them to go, not when he finally found people.

"Wait, don't go!" He didn't want to go exploring. He wanted to go home. They left him with Emma. She looked happy, at least, which made his smile a little more genuine. Emma was always nice to be around, but he was still scared. It helped that the negative feelings of the room seemed to leave with Kiku and Gilbert, though creepiness was still in the air.

Feliciano looked at Emma with a little smile, wiping the remains of tears from his eyes with a final sniffle. "I'm not stuck, I like you Signorina Emma. I won't let anything happen to you when they are gone, ve?" Sure, he was told all his life that he was useless, but he really wouldn't let anything happen to her. He was supposed to be the gentleman here. "Um, should we go downstairs to the floor we are supposed to go to?" he asked with a glance at the door.

Damn, he had been caught. He cursed quietly in Japanese, being dragged down to the first floor by the obstinate Prussian. He did not want to be alone with him, because who knew what he might say or do? Kiku's patience with him was wearing very thin.

He sat down on a couch, back straight, expression neutral, hands folded neatly in his lap. He would at least listen to the obnoxious man before him. If it was something that displeased him, he would simply leave in the dead of night. He couldn't believe that Gilbert, of all people, was scolding him for trying to leave. Gilbert was the one that wanted him around the least. Gilbert was the one that pissed him off the most and didn't give a damn if he were around. Kiku had half a mind to remind him that without him, Gilbert would still be stuck in that closet.

But he didn't. Instead he kept cool, calm, and collected, and simply said, "You wish to speak with me, Gilbert-san?" The san was put rather ironically, in the place of any derogatory terms.

This was going to be difficult. Gilbert was extremely out of his comfort zone here, apologizing was not something he had to do often when he was battling. He would much prefer to settle this with a fight. Unfortunately, not everything could be solved with fists and he was afraid how the others would take to one of leaving them, because a fight would certainly end with one of the two departing from the group.

He sighed and rubbed the back of his head lightly, wincing when his fingers pressed a little too hard on the bump that was still present there. He knew what had to be done. 'Okay, here goes everything.' "Listen, Kiku. I....I just wanted to say that....uh..." he let out another sigh, "Scheiße, this is hard...Uh okay, well, let me just start with this then....I-I'm sorry. I know that I've been out of line lately, and I apologize for it. If we're going to make it through this, we're going to need to work together and...well, it's kind of hard when we're fighting amongst ourselves. It's dangerous to go alone and....I don't wan--I don't think that any of us would be able to focus when we're busy worrying about your safety." He could feel his face start to burn and the urge to flee was immense. However, he swallowed his pride and looked up at Kiku, continuing with, "I'll try my hardest not to be so irritating from now on, so what do you say?"

Emma wasn't even sure how to respond. That was sweet of Feliciano to say, and she really wanted to pinch his cheeks. She managed to stop herself from doing so, and instead she patted his head in response.
"Let's go then," Emma proceeded to walk towards the staircase. She walked slowly though, remembering that she had done the same thing before she was knocked out by the culprit. It was such an unpleasant thought, but it was the only thing she could really remember before waking up in the town.

Each step she took down the stairs seemed to creak. It didn't seem to creak when they were running up the stairs earlier. The sound was starting to get to her.
Is it just me or is this place getting darker? The atmosphere was slowly getting to her. At least she wasn't entirely paranoid yet, but she was worried that at some point all the pressure and stress was really going to cave in. No, she had to concentrate on the task at hand. Every so often Emma made sure that the Italian was behind her.
Wait, why did Gilbert even decide to pair up with Kiku?

Emma didn't have anything against Feliciano, she thought he was a darling, but weren't Gilbert and Kiku close to fighting earlier? Emma frowned. She was getting distracted, and really needed to pay more attention.

Without hesitation, Feliciano followed after Emma. He didn't know exactly where he was going, since he had been stuck in the attic for who knew how long, but he figured the blonde knew where she was going. Getting lost was the last thing he wanted to do right now. Much to his discomfort, the staircase they were in seemed just as creepy and dark as where he was upstairs. He stayed close behind her until they made it to the landing of the 2nd floor, stupid creaky squares.

Still just as creepy. It was hard to imagine anyone living here as he looked around. "Ve, it is kind of scary here, don't you think? It is like the haunted kind I see on tv all the time..." Dust, creaky stairs, cobwebs, the place had everything. Just the thought made him shiver. He focused back on Emma, trying to forget the fact that he was horribly scared right now. "D-do you think there are ghosts here? What if they come out when we are looking?" After all, it was their job to explore this floor. For what exactly, he had no idea.

Feliciano took a few steps away from her, down the oddly dark hallway that stood in front of them. Poor everyone else. They could be stuck in horrible places, or even worse. They could be hurt. Sure, they couldn't die like normal humans, but that didn't mean everything worked the same here...where ever here was. Making a little 've' noise to himself, he placed a hand on the wall and squinted, trying to peer down the hall.

Kiku was silent for a few minutes. He was completely shocked. Gilbert was apologizing? The "Awesome Prussia" was apologizing? To him? His mind was reeling. He knew that Gilbert had been out of line the entire time, even more than usual, but he never thought he would actually admit it. His thoughts bounced around in his skull for what seemed like hours, though it was only a few minutes. Then, he realized what he had to do. He had to do the honorable thing, even if he would really rather just leave it at that.

He stood up and bowed. "Gilbert-san, I apologize as well," he said. "I should not have let my temper get the best of me. Though it feels like none of you want me in the group, and that is probably true, I will stay for as long as you wish. I thank you for your apology and will do my best to avoid any regrettable behavior in the future. Gomenasai."

He didn't know what he was expecting from Kiku, in a way it put him out that he maintained such a formal attitude, but at the same time he was glad to not have to have an emotional heart to heart with the other man. He turned away, not wanting the other man to see what was probably his bright red face, if the fire in his cheeks was anything to go by. Gilbert looked around and seeing that there were very few rooms on the first floor, he spoke again, "Listen, Kiku, uh....that was all that I really wanted to say. This floor is pretty small, the amazing me can handle it on my own. Why don't you go and help the others, I'm sure they are probably too busy quivering in their boots to search properly. Kesesese~"

Hopefully he would understand and give Gilbert some space, instead of getting angry and walking out the door. The Prussian was not in any mood to go chasing after angsting nations in the dark.

Emma couldn't help but agree with Feliciano. The second floor definitely looked scary, like it came from a movie. Nonetheless, they still had to search. She imagined that they would need to find some sort of weapon, just in case, and to make sure that there weren't any unpleasant surprises around the corner.
"It does look haunted, but I doubt that there are any ghosts. They don't really exist," she replied. Emma didn't believe in the supernatural, but she could see why the Italian mentioned it. It seemed as if anything could jump out at them.

As soon as she saw the dark hallway, she struggled to keep moving. If it was this dark already, she'd have more trouble checking out the rooms. It would be a lot more reassuring if she could find some sort of weapon, maybe even a flashlight. Something to stop her from being paralysed with fear.

She would have never called it a phobia, although she was somewhat claustrophobic. She was just afraid of the dark... a bit. It was a big disadvantage in the situation they were in, and Emma knew that if she let it get to her, she might as well end up as dead weight for the others. Emma needed to stay strong, or at least appear to stay strong. Besides, if Gilbert were to see her afraid of something like the dark, he'd probably mock her and she hated that. She hated that a lot.

Emma walked over to the other side of where they were and reached for the wall. From there, she peered down the hallway. She could barely make out anything, but she spotted some doors. Emma couldn't seem to take a few more steps after that. The longer she peered, the darker it seemed to get. Emma couldn't even bring herself to say anything. She was too focused on trying to steady her breath.

Feliciano was happy when he could seem Emma following his lead. Sure, it was the man's job to be the hero and take the lead in these situations, but the Italian was a special kind of man to say the least. He stayed with her down the hall, really wishing he had some kind of flashlight or candle. He let out a slightly nervous giggle. "You don't think there are ghosts? I'm glad." He completely trusted Emma, but at the same time, Feliciano couldn't shake the fear from creeping back into his mind.

Caught up in his own thoughts, Feliciano bumped into Emma with a small sqeak when she stopped so abruptly. "M-mi dispiace!" he apologized rather panic stricken. Even though he was obviously aware she was still with him, that little bump was enough to nearly give him a heart attack. What had she been looking at though? "Is something down there? It's all dark, I can't see." It was odd and nearly pitch black in the direction they were looking.

He didn't like it. The dark was scary. With a quick glance behind them from the direction they came, Feliciano noticed that it was oddly dark there as well. Looking back to Emma, he moved a bit closer to her.
