Alfred is very much an optimist, often trying to see the best in situations. This allows him to be resourceful and opportunistic in addition to cheerful. There are very few situations where Alfred sees the worst in things. In combination with this, Alfred is very single minded and rarely pays attention to things that have little to do with his goals.
Alfred truly wants to help people and will do anything and everything to play the part of a hero. This makes Alfred a bit conceited as well as explaining his love for sticking his nose into other people’s business.
Another thing is that Alfred is a spoiled brat. He often wasn’t allowed to go out and do whatever he wanted, so he was often placated with toys and other whims of his. Though he may be rather spoiled, Alfred is also independent and will go out of his way to bother authority figures.
In short, Alfred is a proud young man whose cheerful nature and heroic complex hide his ambition and selfishness.
As excited and happy or what have you he may seem on the surface, Alfred's a deeper character than you think. Beyond the hyperactivity, he's a strong leader and a genuinely good person: he's charismatic, with the kind of boyish charm that makes women swoon. Everything he does is big--when he's happy, he's happy, when he's frightened (especially of ghosts, his silly but very true fear), you know it.

With his hands stuffed in his pockets, Alfred raised his gaze up to look at the sky. So blue, so peaceful…it gave him a nostalgic feeling. Nostalgic feeling… Like hell! It made him hungry. Searching in his pockets, he found his wallet and gladly he did still have some money there! “YOSH! MCDONALDS HERE I COME!” He shouted to no one basically, probably causing attention from the others, since he was actually in what it seemed like to be a park.
Being an athletic, Alfred loved jumping around and wasting his energy. So, in a second he basically stormed to the shop where his favorite food was sold. He wasn’t exactly the most patient person ever, so he burst through the crowd, from behind him hearing curses and frowning. Not like he gave a damn. “A BigMac!” He ordered, the excitement in his voice being slightly obvious. Waiting for several minutes, his food was finally brought as he looked at it with sparkling eyes and literally started drooling. Paying for it, he grabbed it along with soda and stormed outside to relax.
